Veerbhadra Marriage Bureau began in a single office in Pune, arranging introductions between families who already trusted one another. That is still how we work — only now the shortlisting happens online as well as across a desk.

Why we exist
Families do not struggle to find profiles. They struggle to find the ten profiles out of ten thousand that are actually worth a phone call — and to know which of those are honest about age, income, marital status and expectations.
That filtering is work, and it does not happen by itself. It takes somebody reading the biodata properly, checking a document, calling the family, and asking the questions that a form does not. That is what a bureau is for, and it is the part we have refused to automate away.
What we have automated is everything around it: search, shortlisting, Kundali calculation, and a member area you can use at eleven at night when you finally have a free hour. The judgement stays with people.
How we work
Every profile is checked by a member of our staff before anyone else sees it. Where something cannot be verified, we say so on the profile rather than quietly leaving it out.
We do not sell, rent or share member data with anyone. Contact details are released only under a plan that includes them, and only when the member has not restricted them.
If we have met the family, we will tell you our impression — including when it is not favourable. An introduction that wastes both families' time helps nobody.
Parents who would rather sit across a desk are not second-class users here. The office list and the website list are the same list.
Our story
2016
Started with a register, a telephone and the families of one community around Shivaji Road.
2018
Word of mouth carried us across Pune district. The register became a database out of necessity.
2020
Brought chart calculation and Guna Milan into the bureau so families were not sent elsewhere mid-search.
2022
Families from Nashik, Kolhapur, Satara and Sangli joined, and we began travelling for verification.
2024
A milestone we measure far more carefully than registration numbers.
2026
Search, shortlisting and compatibility available to members directly, with the office doing what it always did.

We had both been on the big matrimonial websites for over a year. Here someone actually called us, understood what our families wanted, and sent four profiles. The second one was Amit.
The Kundali matching was done properly and explained to my grandmother in a way she accepted. That mattered more in our family than anything else.
