We had both been on the big matrimonial websites for over a year, and the experience was the same for both of us — hundreds of profiles, no context, and no idea which ones were serious. My father registered me at Veerbhadra almost reluctantly. What changed was that somebody actually called us, sat with my parents for an hour, and understood what we were looking for beyond the biodata. They sent four profiles. The second one was Amit. Both families met within the month, and we were married the following February.
